Well,they arrived bang on time and are plumbing like mad.

I just found a shed load of my Cheezburger submissions on my laptop.

I'm so damn cold,the doors are open and I'm huddled under a duvet which makes typing a pain.

The cats hate the drilling.Actually ,I'm not struck either.

I am out of coffee and need to be in the flat or a while

Cleaning up,ugg

So today yet more cleaning up ,tidying,shifting stuff happened.I called up my dear friend Carl who's been close to me for 15 years and though he had a niece's birthday party to go to,and worked a night shift,came round to help.

Yeah,this is pretty much what he looks like..He and Lance cleared one of the rooms.I helped but dear to goodness ,my back aches now.

OK,this is the blog I was about to write before all the crap happened.

I had to go to town on Tuesday to sort out some stuff at the bank and other things I can't do from home. Now a fortnight earlier ,I'd bought a 4 coloured biro which I find useful for shopping lists and my diary because I'm dyslexic .I got one I liked but had seen a really pretty pink 3 coloured one I was tempted by.So I decided to hell with it and went back to the stationers for it.I had also been wanting one of the smaller Filofaxes for ages.I have one of the big ones but wanted a smaller one to fit in my handbag.Lance said it's outdated technology but I have a notebook for shopping lists/reminders ,a card golder and a diary in my bag and it seemed sensible to combine them.Now they are quite pricy so I was just looking when I saw one marked down to � 5.00 from �35.00 .It had been a display model or something and was a little grubby from handling but hey it was going to get used so I wasn't bothered.It was a nice crushed blackberry purple too.So ,yeah,I had to have it.And when I got home,I found the pink pen fitted the penholder perfectly and the colours went together very well.

So it was a most successful shop.Now I can have a lovely time buying inserts and accessories for it.

Getting the workmen in

Annual gas inspection happened today. Now ,as I have blogged before ,I was supposed to have all my gas appliances ,central heating etc replaced over two years ago.It never happened.

Eventually,I got a letter saying I was in breach of my lease for not having it done.I pointed out THEY hadn't done it.They said,they had tried to get access to my flat but I was never in,Ermm,well yeah,bit disabled here,never leave the flat so they were lying.

They sent round 5 people who tut tutted ,said what a shame,we'll sort it out,gave me a date for the work,and never did it. Repeated complaints got nowhere.

Well,this morning ,my gas appliances failed inspection and everything has been shut off.I have no cooker,no gas fire,no heating,no hot water

On the bright side,the guy phoned up the company who run the flats and got them to put a priority job on.

So someone comes round,measures up the flat,assesses the job and gives me a start date,next Tuesday and believe me,that's good.

However ,I have to clear up a lot of stuff ,i.e. about 2,000 books amongst other things.I've rounded up two friends to come round on Sunday because I physically cannot do it.

It's got me very cross because I would have had help and free storage space if they'd done it when they said they would but at least after a 3 year wait ,it's going to get done.

But I'm bloody freezing and really need to wash my hair ,boo.

I have just tried to set it up so I can see my statements from my bank on line.I've kept trying to fill in the usual name,address etc sections and everytime I've clicked on enter it's gone and highlighted my first and last name in red and told me

Are you ready for some football?

Woke up this morning with my back in spasms ;feels like a combination between knives being stuck between my vertebrae and electric shocks.It's my own fault for sitting up and watching two NFL games.And yes,I'm going to do the same today,lol.

I've also rather overdone it lately ,doing a big shop on my own yesterday then sorting through books I'd been given to donate to the Cats' Protection February fair.I sorted out a couple to read first and I opened one to find the first sentence contained a description of a decapitated cat.Perhaps it would be tactless to donate that one.

I also found a moonstone ring ,a couple of butterfly backs and a large crystal point I'd lost under the bed.

I'm hyper at the moment because I've run out of sertraline.I ordered it on the doctor's new internet service.The first time it didn't turn up and the second time ,I got mebrevine by mistake,

Finally got round to watching the Christmas Doctor Who episode which upset me because my father died at Christmas,killed by a drunk driver.

So off to drink a couple of Irish coffees which I'm sure will help.

Underwear

Because I've lost so much weight over the past year,none of my bras fit any more.My substantial boobs simply fall out of the bottom.I've been looking for new ones but everywhere seems to sell those slightly padded ones which I find a bit sweaty not to mention I don't need my cup size enchancing.

So ,I saw an advert for some nice ,seamless front fastening bras in a magazine.I've seen them before but only in white or cream but these were black.I had some X mas money left over so I went online to order them.

The site was a bit odd.It sold 5 different designs of bras,Norwegian walking poles,one design of dog bed ,one design of dog coat and a gell for aching muscles.And that was all ;very strange mix.

In the mean time ,I found a nice unpadded bra in black lace lined with pink on offer left over from Christmas which is cool.

Time is out of joint

Over the past few days ,somehow time has seemed to get all mixed up.

Yesterday ,I fell asleep in the afternoon,then got woken up in the early hours by Lance shouting at his computer game,some sort of Starwars ,Old Republic thing.So I got up and we caught up with some recorded TV .By this time it was 7.30 so we decided to stay up anyway and go to town.

We visited various shops collecting postcards ,I got some 4 colour biros I wanted,then found a great pair of little ankle boots.

We also got lamb kebabs and Manchester sausage from a great butcher.

Then it was lunchtime and we went for a pub meal where I got the most delicious fish and chips with the lightest,crispest batter I've ever tasted washed down with a good cider,the sort that is nearly flat and comes from a small brewery.

Of course,when we got home ,I especially was exhausted and went to bed.It felt like evening,though it was mid afternoon.

So of course today,I was awake again very early.I had a bath and washed my hair This time ,we took a load of books we had been meaning to to a local recycling shop .Because I'd just washed my hair,I'd left it down and loose.I got rather freaked out when a woman working there stated stroking it and.calling me Goldilocks even though it's dyed bright red.Lance got a nice handpainted plate for his mum.Back home again and to bed at 11.30 AM.

So now I'm awake ;it's 4.57 PM but feels like the middle of the evening.

I keep thinking it's a day sooner than it is and I'm sure I've forgotten to eat a few meals .

I think my bodyclock must look like one of these.

You got mail...or not/

My first email address was one dedicated to our funky little private internet network .It was great ,virtually spam free and a doddle to use.Unfortunately it was in the early days and some sites did not recognise anything that was not Yahoo or MSN. I drifted onto Yahoo answers one day .messed around for a few days then forgot about it.However ,StillNoCouch said he'd been reading my replies,I was funny and did I want to join his Yahoo360 blog.

I did but had to get a Yahoo email address.In the fullness of time,something went wrong with the Redbricks email address ( and everyone is STILL discussing fixing it 8 years later ) and I needed a new one.

Yahoo was out of the question,even with my own spam protection on it,it generated 80 spammings a day .Most of this seemed to come from the blog site and repeated complaints had no effect .

I went back there after 8 years of never using it and it's still quietly accumulating spam all by itself.

So ,I found a new ,no whistles.no bells provider called Graffiti.This was perfect for years then oops ,it was taken over by AOL and plummeted rapidly into a pit. The home page automatically posted a shit-ton of celebrity gossip and lo and behold ,spam started appearing in increasing numbers .Also signing in ,you had to go through two stages which was a total PITA.Once again,I complained and got form letter answers and no result.

Off on the hunt again.I found Care2 which was pretty neat and donated to charity as you used it.Once again ,I was satisfied then 2 weeks ago ,it suffered some sort of attack and no-one can log in.Two fixes have failed to work.

Luckily ,I have an unused ,back up address and have been changing it on all my sites but I fear 10 days of mail may never be recoverable.

So ,does anyone else have these problems or is it just me?
